it's taken exactly 7 days to get over my jetlag! wonder if there's a scientific explanation for why all i required to be up and about was a good night's rest when we flew back to KL 5 week's ago?
it's nice to be back in durham - although i must admit i miss going to the closet each day and find yesterday's laundry miraculously clean and pressed. kidding. i miss a whole lot more than that of course. it was really really great to see everybody - friends and family. hang out and makan (the favourite activity of malaysians - but not really mine actually).
yep - lot's of eating, hardly any excercise though ... had only 3 sessions of tennis during entire month of vacation! one with pits/chung/scott under blazing sun (3pm!) and 2 with daddy in sydney (which turned into mini coaching sessions ... my forehand drive def needed work).
apart from food, our vacation highlights include:
-daddy's birthday weekend at port stephens (sydney, OZ) where a humpback whale came 'this' close to our boat!
-hanging out with paula and makenna at bronte beach and the choc indulgence at double bay (also in sydney)
-hl and cnn's wedding!
-having really inexpensive (umm. cheap!) seafood in teluk intan with ama and playing mahjong afterwards
-getting lost in ipoh; took us almost an hour to find jessie and nick's place. it's ridiculous how there are no decent maps of ipoh ...
-supper/drinks at bar luna with ksr and lo
-sek san's steel and glass tree house hangout serendah; bbq'ed sea-ham ...!?
-driving all around town with anne; chilling while on 'mission' ... :P
gosh. it was a packed 4 weeks ... and as always i wish i'd taken more pics. but here are a couple! :D
