looks like i lost my links when i was experimenting with new templates. in then end i liked my own best ... so no change :P
happy new year anyways!
i counted down with friends and 3 shots of tequila - which i'm positive delivered a premature death to a cold. :D
new year resolutions: none so far. but i hope to continue with some changes i made in the past year such as going meat-free and since the beta fish tragedy i've been seafood/fish-free as well but not sure how long that will last ... we'll see!
i wanna be more environmentally responsible as well. i managed to convince okm to stop buying bottled water last year - no small feat. i'm aware there's so much more i can do but little steps lah: this past year we signed up for a program to buy organic produce from durham farmers to support the local farming industry - didn't get alot of variety but the vegetables were always fresh and tasted better than the ones you got in the supermarket. (serious!)
i've always favored minimalism as an aesthetic and fashion sense so it was not difficult to take it to the lifestyle level. let's see how well i can keep it up when i return to the land where shopping is a weekend activity. we don't seem to get the link between consumerism and environmental sustainability - mebbe it's just me imagining that there's one ... or NOT!? or mebbe we just don't care - hope NOT ... it's a new year after all - let optimism and HOPE reign :D
