Duke Chapel

Wasn't able to attend service this weekend but found a picture of the chapel (and wat's the connection lainey??) Well, we visited last week and I really enjoyed the service - the sermon was thought provoking and introspective (although, i must admit - i can't remember half of it now) ...

The church we attend on a regular basis is Summit (and the pastor's always warning against church 'dating/hopping'! - hehe. a curry puff...) :P But we decided to go and look-see after being invited by the new dean of chapel whom we met at the the Duke graduate christian fellowship welcome dinner. He was the speaker for the event and came to sit with OKM (that's how we met him). I think they exchanged horror stories about the visa process - he's a brit and was a vicar at cambridge prior to this (wonder if he knows pastor Marvin of Eden).

So that was a little tale related to this pic. And for those interested - it's built in the neo-gothic style circa 1930s .
