this dvd just came in the mail - it is part of my prep for our trip to savannah next week. i'm too lazy to read the book - which is based on real life events that took place in the city in the 80s - so i got the dvd instead which was loosely base on the book ...


this won't be our first trip to savannah. it was one of the pit-stops during our our roadtrip 3 winters back. i remember wanting to go back to explore some more. the city is gorgeous, very walkable - squares and gardens of all sizes at every corner and spanish moss everywhere !!!

p.s. the movie was excellent!!! i'm surprised that it didn't do better at the box office ... it's directed by clint eastwood and the cast was fantastic too. kevin spacey, john cusack (post grosse point blank), a young jude law ... hot hot hot! wondering whether to watch 'gone with the wind' as we're also going to charleston ...
