paranoia

Today ... I got rid of our whole set of non-stick teflon-coated pots and pans - and replaced them with hard anodized aluminium ones.

Someone asked me if living in the US had made me more paranoid.

It's ... possible :P

what's wrong with teflon?? :-O

but i heard some stuff about using aluminium pans too, you have to be careful about cooking certain things which react with the aluminium..

sigh, nowadays not only do we worry about what we eat but what we cook them in!

btw i've moved blog addresses!

i also heard something similar with hard plastic water bottles.. (not just those disposable ones supplied with mineral water etc) when you use them for a while, the chemicals from the plastic start leaching into the water :p

i know a bit about being scare mongered! I have gone off fish! (because of what China's putting into them) :(
